During the delegation, ISO staff visited the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Ankara, where they met with the Polish Consul, Mr Jaroslaw Szkripan and Mr Krzysztof Dominek, Secretary in charge of political, cultural and press affairs, with whom they discussed visa issues, the rules of recruitment at WUT and ways to reach candidates from Turkey with the educational offer of our university. During the Istanbul fair, the stand of Polish universities was visited by the Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Istanbul, Mr. Witold Leśniak.

Candidates from Turkey make up one of the largest groups of international students at the Warsaw University of Technology - we currently have more than 130 regular students, more than 30 students under the Erasmus+ program and 4 doctoral students. Due to direct flights and no visa problems, Turkey is an up-and-coming market. We hope that the visit to Ankara, Izmir, and Istanbul will result in even more international students from Turkey attending WUT.
