Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of California, Irvine (USA)
On July 8, 2025, a meeting was held in the Main Building of Warsaw University of Technology with Professor Jack Brouwer, Director of the Clean Energy Institute at the University of California, Irvine (USA). The host of the event was Professor Mariusz Malinowski, Vice-Rector for Research.

Representing Warsaw University of Technology were: Prof. Marek Wojtyra – Vice-Dean for General Affairs and Research at the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering; Prof. Maciej Zasuwa – Vice-Dean for Education at the same Faculty; Prof. Jarosław Milewski – Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering; and Grzegorz Robak – Director of the Center for International Cooperation.

The meeting agenda included presentations from both universities, highlighting their academic profiles, organisational structures, research priorities, and achievements. The discussion focused on potential joint research projects, particularly in the areas of energy conversion and storage, as well as environmental technologies.
The highlight of the event was the ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on scientific and research cooperation between the two institutions.
