SAFER is a cutting-edge training programme designed for those eager to explore business opportunities within the food sector, complete with valuable mentoring. This distinguished programme will equip you with the expertise and tools needed to evaluate and bring your food-related business ideas to life.
Training Details:
1. Online Training
- Duration: 3 weeks From October 28th to November 15th, 2024
- Schedule: 15-hour online live and self-studying training per week; online live trainings will be in the afternoon/early evening
- Content: Gain insights into the future of food, innovative technologies, startup fundamentals, and business creation mentoring.
The most promising teams will also have the chance to win scholarships for the Bootcamp in Italy.
2. Bootcamp
- Duration: 3 full days in November 2024
- Location and schedule: in Pollica (Salerno, Italy) the homeland of “Mediterranean Diet” a rich agenda of meeting with Companies, Investors and Experts in venture building.
- Content: Gain insights on how to develop your own startup and networking with potential partners.

Participation Fee:
For the Online Training €50, covering basic administrative costs and demonstrating your commitment. Scholarships are available for some category of students. More info on Course WebPages.
For the SAFER Boot Camp (Optional) participants will pay a fee of €200. The Fee includes refreshments, meals and all the expenses associated with the intensive, hands-on training and experiential visits (accommodation and travel costs are not included). Best 35 participants to the Bootcamp will receive a scholarship that cover food and residence costs.
Language Requirement:
Good proficency in English is necessary, as the program will be conducted in English.
Certification:
Successful participants will receive a Certificate of Completion for each of the two components of the Program (Online training and Bootcamp) . Appropriate EIT Label (s) can be offered by SAFER.
