The meeting took place in the Main Building of WUT, where the delegation was welcomed by Grzegorz Robak, Director of the Centre for International Cooperation, and Patrycja Kluź, who is responsible for WUT’s cooperation with Chinese universities. During the meeting, presentations of both the Warsaw University of Technology and Taiyuan University of Technology were delivered, followed by a discussion on potential areas of collaboration—particularly those related to the mobility of students, doctoral candidates, and academic staff, as well as joint educational initiatives.
The next part of the program included visits to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Civil Engineering. The delegation had the opportunity to learn about the research infrastructure, ongoing projects, and academic offerings of the faculties. Both sides highlighted the potential for cooperation in areas such as electrical engineering and civil engineering, as well as the possibility of both universities participating in the “international laboratory” project, which is funded by the Chinese government.
The TUT delegation included:
Prof. Yifei Sun – Dean of the College of Civil Engineering
Prof. Xiaoqiang Dong – Dean of the Graduate School
Mr. Zhi Li – representative of the College of International Education and Exchange
