Warsaw University of Technology's Educational Mission to Türkiye

On 28–29 March 2026, representatives of the Centre for International Cooperation — Magdalena Nałęcz and Olga Świderska — represented our university at the 47th International Education Fair in Istanbul as part of the Study in Poland programme of the Perspektywy Educational Foundation. On 31 March 2026, they travelled to Izmir, where they visited the schools previously attended by our current students from Türkiye and presented WUT’s educational offer to school career counsellors and students.

The candidates showed particular interest in the degree programmes in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, and Architecture.

The educational mission to Türkiye was a continuation of last year’s activities carried out by the Centre for International Cooperation in Türkiye, promoting WUT’s study offer — LINK.

In 2025, candidates from Türkiye constituted the largest group of international applicants for English-taught degree programmes, and Turkish students currently make up the largest group of international students enrolled in English-language programmes at WUT.

We hope that this year’s educational mission to Türkiye will result in an even greater number of students from this country.

We would like to sincerely thank Naz Kabaroğlu from the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Hasan Sakarya from the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering, as well as the other students from Türkiye, for their help in establishing contact with their former schools.
