On March 16, 2026, at Rektorska 4, the Centre for International Cooperation of Warsaw University of Technology, in cooperation with the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Warsaw and students from Kazakhstan studying at the university, organized Kazakhstan Day.
From March 9–13, 2026, the Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering at Warsaw University of Technology hosted the hybrid HACK-4-SAGES hackathon, focused on the application of digital twin concepts in astrobiology. Eighteen participants attended the on-site part in Warsaw. At the same time, students competed at Gdańsk University of Technology and ETH Zurich. A total of 194 students from 25 countries across five continents applied for the event.
On 16 March 2026, the inauguration of the spring session of the ATHENS Programme took place in Room 315 at the Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography. The courses will run until 21 March 2026.
From February to April 2026, Dorota Chromińska and Ilona Zarajczyk-Pawłowska from the Foreign Language Centre at Warsaw University of Technology, along with Anna Rolewicz-Kalińska, PhD, from the Faculty of Environmental Engineering, are participating as co-authors and co-instructors in the international ENHANCE Alliance project “Enhancing Sustainable Communication, Professional Competences & AI”. The project is implemented as an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP). The Polytechnic University of Valencia organised the course in cooperation with Warsaw University of Technology, Berlin University of Technology, and the Lviv and Kyiv Polytechnics, ENHANCE partner universities in Ukraine. Each institution was responsible for delivering one of five online modules. WUT focused on greenwashing, the use of AI in this area, and communication skills.
On 4 March 2026, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Poland, His Excellency Mohammad Mainul Islam, paid a visit to Warsaw University of Technology. He was accompanied by the First Secretary of the Embassy, Biswajit Debnath. The guests were received by the Rector of Warsaw University of Technology, Prof. Krzysztof Zaremba, together with the Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Mariusz Malinowski, and the Director of the International Cooperation Centre, Grzegorz Robak.
