The new edition of the university rankings published by Quacquarelli Symonds compares academic institutions across Europe. A total of 958 higher education institutions were ranked, including 39 universities from Poland. Warsaw University of Technology ranked 202nd in Europe and 3rd in Poland (after the University of Warsaw and the Jagiellonian University), confirming its position as the highest-ranked technical university in the country. WUT also remained in the Top 10 of the Eastern Europe ranking, defending its 7th place.

On 29–30 January 2026, Olga Świderska and Zenoviya Shits from the International Students Office at the Centre for International Cooperation of WUT took part in the 19th Conference “International Students in Poland 2026”, organised by the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (KRASP), the Jagiellonian University, and the PERSPEKTYWY Education Foundation. This year’s conference was dedicated to strategies for internationalising higher education.
