On 8 May 2026, the 2nd Poland–Türkiye Rectors’ Forum took place at the University of Gdańsk. The event was dedicated to strengthening academic, scientific, and institutional cooperation between universities from both countries. Representatives of university authorities from Poland and Türkiye participated in the forum. The program included discussions on the development of joint research projects, academic mobility, and the establishment of long-term inter-university partnerships.
On April 13–14, 2026, the Vice-Rector for Research of the Warsaw University of Technology, Prof. Mariusz Malinowski, participated in the Central Asia–European Union University Congress and the 3rd Forum of Rectors of Poland and Uzbekistan.
On April 29, 2026, Prof. Mariusz Malinowski, Vice-Rector for Research at the Warsaw University of Technology, met with His Excellency Miguel Berger, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Poland, and Dr. Monika Schidorowitz, Head of the Science and Research Department at the German Embassy in Warsaw. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Piotr Dardziński, Director of the WUT Innovation Center, and Grzegorz Robak, Director of the Centre for International Cooperation.

On April 27, 2026, Prof. Mariusz Malinowski, Vice-Rector for Research at the Warsaw University of Technology, met with a delegation from Austrian Cooperative Research (ACR), an association of Austrian research institutes. The Austrian delegation also included representatives of two ministries: the Federal Ministry for Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy and Tourism.
