On May 26, 2025, Professor Jan Słyk, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at the Warsaw University of Technology, met with Her Excellency Gloria Lissete Nalvarte Simoni De Isasi, Ambassador of Peru to the Republic of Poland, Third Secretary of the Embassy Daniel Oliviera Hermoza Alarcón, and a delegation from the Catholic University of Santa María (UCSM). The university was represented by Rector Dr. Jorge Luis Cáceres Arce and Vice-Rector for Research Dr. Máximo Rondón Rondón. The meeting was initiated by Professor Jarosław Arabas from the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology.
On 19 May 2025, the inauguration of the on-site Interdisciplinary Design Classes for Students from the ENHANCE Alliance INCLUSIVE INNOVATION CO-CREATION OF SMART CITY LIVING LABS workshop took place. The event was organised by Warsaw University of Technology in cooperation with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and the Technical University of Aachen (RWTH). The course was a 5-day event in Warsaw at WUT from 19th to 23rd May 2025, thanks to NAWA funding, with an online part: 7th March + 21st March and 25th April 2025. The workshop was attended by 31 students from 9 universities from the ENHANCE Alliance and 7 countries (Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Poland, Sweden, and Italy).
On May 22, 2025, the Centre for International Cooperation organised a meeting with Professor Pilate Moyo from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. The meeting was initiated by Prof. Marian Giżejowski of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, who has been working with the University of Cape Town for many years.
On May 15, 2025, a delegation from Tsinghua University in China visited the Warsaw University of Technology. Tsinghua University was founded in 1911, is one of the best public universities in China, also ranked 20th in the world universities ranking (QS Top Universities). Located in Beijing, has 32 Schools educating students in almost all fields of science, more than 62 thousand students and 17 thousand employees.
On May 9, 2025, as part of the ENHANCE Task Force Ukraine, the Warsaw University of Technology organised the international webinar Rebuilding Ukraine after the War. The event consisted of two panels and gathered over 30 experts and students from Poland, Ukraine, and Germany, who presented the various projects and concepts related to the reconstruction of Ukraine after the wartime destruction.
On April 28, 2025, at the Warsaw University of Technology, Prof. Mariusz Malinowski, Vice-Rector for Research, met with representatives from Pohang University of Science & Technology (POSTECH), Republic of Korea. The Korean university was represented by Dr. Seong Keun Kim, President of POSTECH, Prof. Sung Min Park, Vice-President for External Affairs, and members of the International Relations Office – Mr. Junki Ahn and Ms. Yujin Kim.

From April 25 to 30, 2025, the Centre for International Cooperation organised the Warsaw University of Technology Days at Keio University in Tokyo as part of the NAWA project “Strengthening Polish-Japanese cooperation in higher education and science through the organisation of Warsaw University of Technology Days at Keio University in Tokyo.” The initiative is part of the NAWA programme “International Scientific Event at the World Exhibition EXPO 2025 in Osaka, Kansai.” The application to NAWA was prepared by the Centre for International Cooperation.

On April 24, 2025, the Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Mariusz Malinowski, DSc, Eng., hosted a delegation from the Embassy of China in Warsaw. The delegation included Mr. Tian Zhong, Consul for Science and Technology, Second Secretary Mr. Duan Dejun, and Second Secretary Ms. Li Lin. The purpose of the visit was to introduce the new Consul, Mr. Tian Zhong, who assumed his position in March this year, to the Warsaw University of Technology.
On April 23, 2025, Prof. Krzysztof Zaremba, Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology, together with Prof. Mariusz Malinowski, Vice-Rector for Research, welcomed a delegation from Uzbekistan in connection with the ongoing 2nd Forum of Rectors of Poland and Uzbekistan in Warsaw.
On April 22, 2025, in room 123 of the Main Building of Politechnika Warszawska, Prof. Mariusz Malinowski, PhD, DSc, Vice-Rector for Research at WUT, and Grzegorz Robak, Director of the Centre for International Cooperation, met with an 18-member delegation of rectors, vice-rectors, deans, and directors of international cooperation from 11 universities in Uzbekistan. From March 9 to 16, 2025, Magdalena Bobryk and Karol Maśluszczak from the Center for International Cooperation participated in the 45th IEFT fair in Turkey. The Warsaw University of Technology’s booth, as part of the Study in Poland delegation, was available in three of Turkey’s largest cities: Ankara, Izmir, and Istanbul.
On March 5, 2025, a meeting of the Senate Committee on International Cooperation was held. At the invitation of the Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Mariusz Milanowski, Katarzyna Dyrka and Marzena Pobojewska from Welcome Point participated in the session, delivering a presentation titled “Welcome Point – Supporting the International Community at WUT.” The unit operates within the Center for International Cooperation, exclusively serving the international community at WUT, and has been funded since its inception by the IDUB program.
On March 13, 2025, a meeting was held at the Warsaw University of Technology, bringing together five experts representing Cambridge International Education and representatives from eleven Polish universities. The event aimed to present the opportunities offered by the British education model in the context of recruiting international candidates for higher education. The Warsaw University of Technology hosted the meeting, represented by Grzegorz Robak, Director of the International Cooperation Center.
