On 10-11.10.2024 at the Rektorska 4 Building, Warsaw University of Technology organised the “Innovative Didactics Conference” as part of the activities in the ENHANCE Alliance. Over 150 participants from all ENHANCE universities registered for the conference. Thanks to the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) funding "Solidarity with Ukraine - European Universities", 12 academics from Lviv Polytechnic National University and 17 from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute participated in the conference.

On the 3rd of October 2024, we celebrated 30 years of partnership between Warsaw University of Technology and Dresden University of Technology.
The 26th of September was a big day as we gathered for the final ENHANCERIA event. ENHANCERIA is the Horizon 2020 project supporting the research and innovation dimensions of the ENHANCE Alliance. There were 68 registered participants who attended two plenary sessions and two parallel sessions with four breakout rooms. 25 presentations were listened, there were two workshops and a lot of time for discussions.

From September 9 to 13, 2024, the Warsaw University of Technology organised Polish language and English language courses academic teachers from Ukraine, financed by the 'NAWA Ukraine 2 - European Universities' project. The Polish language course was taught by Natalia Nowak-Psiuk, MA (Foreign Language Centre, WUT), and the English language course was taught by Ewelina Janas, MA (Foreign Language Centre, WUT). The courses were coordinated by Lucyna Skwarko, MA, FLC Director and Dorota Chromińska, MA, FLC Director's Proxy for Cooperation with ENHANCE and Center for International Cooperation .

The EAIE (European Association for International Education) international conference is taking place in Toulouse, France, on 17-20 September 2024, with the participation of a WUT delegation composed of: Grzegorz Robak, Director of the Centre for International Cooperation, Agnieszka Bursztyńska and Joanna Gołębiewska from the Erasmus+ Office and Anna Smulska (Center for International Cooperation).

On 12 August, the call for startups and academic teams to join the ENHANCE mentoring programme, coordinated by the Warsaw University of Technology, begins. Three thematic areas are available. Two of them will be 'elective' depending on your needs and development level. The sustainability topic area will be part of the mentoring for each startup involved in the process.
From 1-31 July 2024, Warsaw University of Technology, in cooperation with Aachen University of Technology and Universitat Politècnica de València, organised the 3rd edition of the interdisciplinary international summer school ENHANCE BLUE-GREEN-IN CLIMATE CHANGE SUMMER SCHOOL 2024. This year, the focus was on nature-based solutions to climate change issues. Points of reference were the water cycle and the role of greenery. Students observed Warsaw from the point of view of the impact of the metropolitan ecosystem on the local community. The organisational side of the event was coordinated by the staff of the Centre for International Cooperation - Anna Smulska and Piotr Szczepański.

Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences (RWU) is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2024. One of the elements of the celebration is RWU Staff Training Week which will take place from 18th to 22nd November 2024.
Warsaw University of Technology students are invited to apply for the ATHENS programme. The programme lasts for one week and is run at 15 polytechnics across Europe. It consists of a 5-day specialist course (30 hours) and a cultural part. 2-3 ECTS credits can be obtained. Participation in the ATHENS programme is free of charge. Students cover their living expenses on their own.
On 4 July 2024, Grzegorz Robak, Director of the Centre for International Cooperation, took part in the ceremony commemorating Lviv professors shot by the Nazis on 4 July 1941. He laid a wreath on behalf of the Warsaw University of Technology authorities. The ceremony took place in Lviv on the Vuletske Hills. The visit also provided an opportunity to discuss bilateral cooperation with Professor Natalia Hots, Director of the Centre for International Education at the Lviv Polytechnic National University.
