We encourage you to enrol for the Raw Materials Sustainathon (RMS) 2025 competition. The event will take place from April 4th to 6th, 2025, in Warsaw. It is organized by students from the Warsaw University of Technology, University of Warsaw, ETH Zurich, Erasmus University Rotterdam, TU Delft, and Université Paris Cité.
The mentoring program developed at Stanford University has arrived in Poland for research teams with ideas for new therapies, potential drugs, vaccines, diagnostic tests, or other medical devices. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has allocated 2.9 million PLN for its implementation. The application deadline is March 20, 2025.

On January 30-31, 2025, the conference "International Students in Poland 2025" was held at the University of Gdańsk, organized by the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland, the University of Gdańsk, and the Perspektywy Educational Foundation.
During this year’s “International Students in Poland 2025” conference gala, held on January 30 in Gdańsk, the “Distinguished Star 2025” Award for his lifetime achievements and exceptional contributions to internationalization was presented to Prof. Andrzej Kraśniewski from the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology at the Warsaw University of Technology, and longtime Secretary General of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (KRASP). The award was accepted on behalf of Prof. Kraśniewski by the Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology, Prof. Krzysztof Zaremba.

On 27 January 2025, in the Rektorska 4 building, the Centre for International Cooperation of Warsaw University of Technology in cooperation with the Embassy of India in Warsaw organised the Odissi dance performance by a group led by Ms Madhavi Mudgal, a famous Indian dancer, who received numerous awards. The dance group visited Warsaw to celebrate the 76th Republic Day of India.

On January 20, 2025, Roxana Mînzatu, Vice-President of the European Commission, visited the Warsaw University of Technology, accompanied by a delegation consisting of: Ms Pia Ahrenkilde Hansen (Director-General of DG EAC), Mr Stephan Hermanns (Director of DG EAC), Ms Katarzyna Smyk (Head of EC Representation in Poland), Ms Vanessa Debiais-Sainton (Member of Cabinet), Ms Annukka Ojala (Member of Cabinet), Mr Paul Moley (Communication Adviser, Cabinet), and Ms Nais Rigollet (Policy Coordinator, DG EAC). Warsaw University of Technology was the only university visited by the Vice-President during her stay in Poland. The organisation of the visit was coordinated by the Centre for International Cooperation and the University authorities.

Politecnico di Milano (POLIMI) opens some of its best quality on-line courses offered by the PhD School to the MSc students and PhD candidates of the ENHANCE Alliance.
Warsaw University of Technology students are invited to apply for the ATHENS programme. The programme lasts for one week and is run at 15 polytechnics across Europe. It consists of a 5-day specialist course (30 hours) and a cultural part. 2-3 ECTS credits can be obtained. Participation in the ATHENS programme is free of charge. Students cover their living expenses on their own.
On December 2, 2024, the inauguration of the stationary part of the ENHANCE "Winter School in Data Literacy – Healthcare Data" took place, organized by the Warsaw University of Technology in cooperation with the Universitat Politècnica de València and the Politecnico di Milano within the Erasmus+ program (Blended Intensive Programme). Thanks to funding from the NAWA program "Solidarity with Ukraine - European Universities," four students from Ukraine – from Lviv Polytechnic and Kyiv Polytechnic – participated in the Winter School. A total of 25 students from 10 ENHANCE universities participated in the on-site part.
In November 2024, two study visits to the Study of Foreign Languages at WUT took place. During the first study visit on 4-8.11.2024, the FLC was visited by three English language teachers and two German language teachers from Lviv and Kyiv Polytechnic Universities. The visit was organised as part of the NAWA project ‘Solidarity with Ukraine - European Universities’.
Nearly 500 representatives of Kyiv and Lviv Polytechnics, including almost 300 stationary, took part in activities organised by Warsaw University of Technology as part of the NAWA's ‘Solidarity with Ukraine - European Universities’ programme.
Warsaw University of Technology organised an information meeting about the ENHANCE Alliance on 21 November 2024 at 4 Rektorska Street. The meeting was attended by WUT staff implementing the ENHANCE project at our university and participants from across the university, including pro-deans and students. More than 50 people registered. The meeting was opened by Grzegorz Robak, Director of the Centre for International Cooperation and ENHANCE+ Core Officer, who characterised the most important achievements of WUT in ENHANCE in recent years and discussed current WUT activities in the Alliance.
