A Polish-Spanish networking event, organised by the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) in collaboration with the Spanish Agency for the Internationalisation of Education (SEPIE), took place on 20.10.2023 in the WUT Senate Hall and Room 123. The event was co-organised by Warsaw University of Technology.
A staff week for ENHANCE technical and administrative university staff was held at the Technical University of Aachen (RWTH) from 16-20 October 2023. Warsaw University of Technology was represented by representatives of the newly established Welcome Point office operating within the Centre for International Cooperation - Katarzyna Dyrka, MA, and Marzena Pobojewska, MA. Thanks to the NAWA funding "Solidarity with Ukraine - European Universities", Prof. Nataliya Hots from Lviv Polytechnic and Prof. Zoia Korniev from Kyiv Polytechnic also took part in the staff meeting. The main theme of the event was: internationalisation.
On 21.10.2023 at 17.00 in the SYRENA Cinema in Warsaw a discussion of the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology "Education against climate change" was held, within the framework of the WARSAW UNDER CONSTRUCTION 15 Festival.
An international scientific conference CLIMATE CHANGE: CHALLENGES FOR LIFE QUALITY was held at the Warsaw University of Technology on 19-21.10.2023. The event took place in the centre of Warsaw at Warsaw House of Technicians (Warszawski Dom Technika – NOT), Czackiego 3/5 St. The Faculty of Building Installations, Hydrotechnology and Environmental Engineering organised the conference. Thanks to NAWA funding "Solidarity with Ukraine - European Universities", 40 researchers from Lviv and Kyiv Polytechnic University participated in the conference.

A meeting for international students who start their studies in the winter semester of the 2023/2024 academic year was held on 5.10.2023 in room 1.01 in the Innovation Centre, 4 Rektorska St. The event was organised by the staff of the International Cooperation Centre from the International Students Office. More than 60 students attended the meeting.
International students of the Warsaw University of Technology have been studying Polish as a foreign language since 1968.
On 2.10.2023, room 1.01 at the Innovation Centre, 4 Rektorska St., a meeting was held for international students coming to WUT under the Erasmus+ and Bilateral Exchange programme. The event was organised by the Centre for International Cooperation staff from the Erasmus+ Office. The meeting was attended by more than 350 students from around 30 countries, including Spain, Italy, Turkey and Germany.

On 25-28.09.2023, the Signal Processing Symposium was held in Karpacz. The Warsaw University of Technology, MIKON Microwave and Radiolocation Foundation and the Wrocław University of Technology organised the conference in cooperation with the Polish Academy of Sciences. Thanks to the NAWA funding "Solidarity with Ukraine - European Universities", six academics from Ukraine took part in the symposium - 3 from Lviv Polytechnic and 3 from Kyiv Polytechnic.
Foreign Language Centre invites WUT’s students to register for courses prepared in collaboration with Aachen University of Technology and UPV Universitat Politècnica de València as part of the ENHANCE Alliance.
On 20-22 September 2023, a working group meeting of the ENHANCERIA project and a study visit within the ENHANCE Alliance to the Living Labs Incubator studios took place at the RWTH Aachen, with the participation of five employees of the Warsaw University of Technology.

The 17th International Congress on Polymers in Concrete was inaugurated on 17 September 2023 in the Small Hall of the Main Building of the Warsaw University of Technology. The ICPIC 2023 is co-organised by the Warsaw University of Technology and The Building Research Institute. Thanks to NAWA funding "Solidarity with Ukraine - European Universities", five academics from Lviv Polytechnic and three students from Kyiv Polytechnic participated in the congress.
The on-site part of the Summer School in Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Innovation (SEI), organized by Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg as part of the ENHANCE Alliance, took place on August 21-25, 2023. Four students from PW participated in the summer school.
From September 4-8, 2023, within the framework of NAWA's "Solidarity with Ukraine - European Universities" program, the Foreign Language Department conducted an English language course, "Advanced English for PhD Students - Enhancing Language Production Skills" for 10 PhD students from Ukrainian partner universities of Warsaw University of Technology: 5 from Lviv Polytechnic University and 5 from Kyiv Polytechnic University.

The Joint 17th Conference on Rapidly Quenched and Metastable Materials (RQ 17) and 27th International Symposium on Metastable, Amorphous and Nanostructured Materials (ISMANAM 27) was organised at Warsaw University of Technology from 20th to 25th August 2023. It was excellent opportunity to share news and ideas on fundamental and applied research in the field of metallic glasses and other amorphous materials, nanocrystalline materials, other metastable materials, their processing, structure, properties and applications.

On September 14-15, 2023, the Technical University of Berlin, which is WUT's partner in the ENHANCE Alliance, will host the next edition of seminars in memory of Prof. Jerzy Bałdyga - former dean of the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering at WUT, member of the Council of Scientific Excellence and board member of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering, who passed away on November 18, 2019. Professor Baldyga was an internationally recognized specialist in fluid mechanics, mixing processes and chemical reactors.
RISE Worldwide is starting the next round. Research groups, laboratories and doctoral students from all over the world can apply to host a motivated and well-qualified student from Germany as a research intern to assist with a proposed project.
On July 10-14, 2023. Warsaw University of Technology organised the international ENHANCE Students Against Climate Change Summer School 2023. Participants gained essential knowledge and skills in climate change issues through lectures by invited guests, group discussions and hands-on activities in designing, prototyping and testing their ideas.
