The Language Tandems within the ENHANCE Alliance is a project for students, doctoral candidates, academic and administrative staff that aims to enhance language learning via online conversations and enables participants to make new contacts within the ENHANCE community.

On 27 - 29 September 2022, TU Berlin hosted 17 representatives of European technical universities participating in the ENHANCE Alliance. The theme of the fourth ENHANCE Staff Week was good practice in supporting the professional development of non-academic staff.
Prof. Michael Zgurovsky, Rector of the National Technical University of Ukraine - Kyiv Polytechnic University, visited our University, where he met with the Rector of WUT Prof. Krzysztof Zaremba and the Rector of PW from 2005 to 2012 Prof. Włodzimierz Kurnik.
Prof. Anastase Shyaka, Ambassador of Rwanda to Poland, met with the Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology, Prof. Krzysztof Zaremba, and the Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry, Prof. Władysław Wieczorek. It was a special visit, as the Ambassador is our graduate.

On September 24, 2022, the Embassy of France in Warsaw (Ambassade de France en Pologne) is organizing an open day under the slogan 'France opens up for you - bleu, blanc, rouge'. From 11.00 to 18.00, visitors will be able to discover the backstage of the Embassy and Residence of France and its gardens, try French cuisine and take part in numerous concerts.
On September 15, 2022, in the Small Hall of the Warsaw University of Technology took place the nationwide final of the FALLING WALLS LAB WARSAW competition. The competition was organized by the 'pro science' company with the participation of the Center for International Cooperation. The Warsaw University of Technology hosted the finals, and one of the substantive partners was the ENHANCE consortium.
On 9 September, a ceremony was held in the Senate Hall of the Warsaw University of Technology to award diplomas of completion of the international Master of Science Programme in Euro Hydroinformatics and Water Management (EuroAquae+). Graduates received their diplomas from the Dean of the Faculty of Building Services, Hydro and Environmental Engineering, Paweł Popielski, and representatives of partner universities.

The chance to develop an idea for a technological solution, the opportunity to make and present a prototype of one's own device in front of experts, winning mentors support, facing the challenges resulting from the climate change or proving, that girls can achieve success in science - these are the reasons why secondary school female students from Spain, Italy, Sweden and Poland decided to take part in the ENHANCE Girls in STEM competition. The finalists encourage to participate in future editions of the event.

HE Mr. Cengiz Kamil Firat, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Poland, visited the Warsaw University of Technology on 21 June 2022. The main topics raised during the meeting with Prof. Krzysztof Zaremba, Rector of WUT, were the exchange of students and research and teaching staff from both countries as well as opportunities for expanding cooperation to new areas.
The ENHANCE Girls in STEM competition for girls aged 16-19 from Germany, Italy, Spain, Norway, Sweden and Poland has been concluded. The aim of the competition is to encourage girls to study science and technology. The participants were asked to present in the form of short films their ideas on how to solve local environmental problems that may have a global dimension, such as overconsumption of natural resources or climate change.
The Warsaw University of Technology students: Maja Luc, Agnieszka Gados, Rajat Dogra and Tanmay Parshottambhai Engineer, has won together with their teams the ENHANCE Challenge competition organized by the Polytechnic University of Valencia. A total of 6 international student teams were awarded, each of which will receive a cash prize of up to 35,000 EUR and the opportunity to participate in an idea incubation program in the form of a two-day training course at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim or the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
Discussing the cooperation of the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) with the CESAER association, summarizing the activities of CESAER task forces, in which 9. employees of our university are involved, and identifying the main challenges for the coming years - these key topics were raised during the meeting of the Secretary General of the CESAER association, David Bohmert, with the vice-rectors and employees of the Warsaw University of Technology. The visit took place on 31 May 2022.
14 secondary school female students from Spain, Italy, Sweden and Poland have qualified to the final stage of the ENHANCE competition. The ENHANCE GIRLS IN STEM finals will take place on June 7, 2022 in Warsaw during the "Perspectives Women in Tech Summit 2022" conference - the largest event in Europe for women in the field of IT, technology and science.
