In the summer semester 2023/2024, the Foreign Language Center of the Warsaw University of Technology, in cooperation with the Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico di Milano, organised a design course in Italian for WUT’s students entitled 'Italian with Architecture/Contemporary Architecture Projects of Milan'. The course programme was developed by Magda Turowska and preceded by a study visit to the Politecnico di Milano, part of the ENHANCE Alliance.
The inauguration of the 3nd edition of the international summer school ENHANCE BLUE-GREEN-IN CLIMATE CHANGE SUMMER SCHOOL 2024 organised by Warsaw University of Technology, in cooperation with RWTH Aachen and Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), took place on July 1, 2024. Through lectures by guests, group discussions and hands-on activities in designing, prototyping and testing their ideas, participants will gain essential knowledge and skills in climate change issues.
This year's Summer School, focusing on “Empowering a sustainable Future with Si MOSFETs!”, will give young talents insights into technical areas and draw their attention to future career opportunities. The school will take place from 16 to 20 September 2024 at Infineon, Austria. 40 selected students will have the unique opportunity to join Infineon on-site for one week of lectures and hands-on activities held by professors and experts.

On June 6, 2024, the Center for International Cooperation at Gdańsk University of Technology organised a meeting on the international promotion of HEIs ("Summit on international promotion in HEI") under the patronage of the Rector of PG, Prof. Krzysztof Wilde. On May 21, 2024, the Ivan Vyhovsky Prize presentation ceremony was held in the Senate Hall in the Kazimierz Palace of the UW, 26/28 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street. The event was attended by Grzegorz Robak, Director of the Center for International Cooperation at the WUT.
350 enrolled people from 11 European technical universities, 125 viewers of events broadcasted from Warsaw University of Technology, 50 stationary participants. On June 6, 2024, Warsaw University of Technology organized Ukraine Day in cooperation with Universitat Politècnica de València with the participation of polytechnics from Kyiv and Lviv within the framework of ENHANCE Task Force Ukraine - one of the initiatives of the ENHANCE Alliance of European universities. WUT is the leader of these activities in the Alliance.

The ENHANCE Alliance presents a new learning opportunity: the “ENHANCE Micro Programme on Gender and Diversity in Science, Technology and Society” from June to September 2024, including a one-week onsite summer school in Berlin, Germany.
On May 24-26, 2024, at the building at Rektorska 4 Street, the Warsaw University of Technology Student Government, the Herbion Biotechnology Scientific Circle of WUT in cooperation with the Center for International Cooperation, the Ventures and Startups and Innovation student research groups from the Warsaw School of Economics organised two simultaneous international hackathons - the Smart City Challenge and the BioHackathon - as part of activities in the ENHANCE Alliance.
On May 21, 2024, in the building at 4 Rectorska Street, the Center for International Cooperation organized the Dayof Türkiye in cooperation with the Embassy of Türkiye in Warsaw and WUT students from Türkiye - Naz Kabaroğlu, Altun Kerem and Özgur Avci. More than 70 people attended the event.
The ENHANCE Student Forum co-organized by the Warsaw University of Technology Student Government, will be held at WUT on May 19-21, 2024. The meeting will be attended by 20 students from 10 ENHANCE universities.
On April 25-26, 2024, the first Advisory Assembly meeting of the ENHANCE+ project was held at the Federal University of Technology in Zurich. The Advisory Assembly group meets twice a year. It includes one representative of the four statutory groups of the ENHANCE+ project (students, doctoral students, academic staff and administrative staff) from each member university.
Warsaw University of Technology is organising Ukraine Day. This is the event within the framework of the ENHANCE Task Force Ukraine - one of the initiatives of the ENHANCE Alliance of the European Universities. WUT is the member of the ENHANCE and the leader of these activities in the Alliance. Ukraine Day is organised in cooperation with the Universitat Politècnica de València with the participation of the Technical Universities from Kyiv and Lviv. This event is co-financed by the NAWA program "Solidarity with Ukraine - European Universities".

On May 6-7, 2024 Warsaw University of Technology organised a two-day meetings in Walk & Talk format and a workshop of members of two ENHANCERIA project work packages (WP3: Transdisciplinary Research for Sustainable Development - details HERE - and WP6: Research Infrastructure - details HERE). The goal of the ENHANCERIA project is to develop scientific cooperation among the universities of the ENHANCE Alliance. The meetings at Rektorska 4 Street and in the research laboratories of WUT were attended by 19 people from 7 ENHANCE universities (RWTH in Aachen, Berlin University of Technology, Warsaw University of Technology, UPV Universitat Politècnica de València, NTNU Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Chalmers University of Technology, Polytechnic University of Milan).
Higher Education Review's Editorial Board has shortlisted 'Politechnika Warszawska' as " Top 10 Most Promising Colleges for Computer Science and IT Programs in Europe For Indian Students 2024" based on the various parameters that include Services offered, Facilities, Job offerings, Research and development. Other than that interest of students, learning environment, affordability, financial aid, Professional guidance, and other facilities also are taken into consideration during the selection of Computer Science & IT Programs from Europe.
The fifth edition of the international "Polish Conference on Artificial Intelligence" was held on April 18-20 in the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science Building and the Small Hall of the Main Building of the Warsaw University of Technology. The event was organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science WUT in cooperation with the Polish Alliance for the Development of Artificial Intelligence - PP-RAI and with the support of the Excellence Initiative Research University Program. The conference was attended by 330 participants.
On 10 April 2024, the Polish Academy of Sciences Scientific Center in Paris organised a webinar to discuss the rich Polish-French mobility offer for students, doctoral students and researchers.
On April 8-11, 2024, the Heritage Network 2024 General Assembly was held at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) with the participation of member universities from Europe and India. During the assembly, a new HN President was elected. She became Prof. Teresa Zielińska of Warsaw University of Technology, Plenipotentiary of the Rector for Internationalization of Studies in Science and Doctoral Education.
