Report on participation in Education and Career 2016, Kazakhstan 2016
On 7th -9th April 2016, Ms. Zenoviya Shits from the Centre for International Cooperation was representing the Warsaw University of Technology at the international education fair "Education and Career 2016" in Almaty under the patronage of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in Poland . The event was held in the prestigious exhibition centre Atakent Expo.
During three days Warsaw University of Technology was promoted among Kazakh youth and students and attracted great interest as one of the best technical universities in Poland. The joint stand of polish universities was visited by graduates from Polish HEIs and students who have been granted scholarships by Polish and European Commission (Erasmus Mundus) studying or taking part in student exchange programmes. It was amazing to meet a large group of candidates of Polish origins also interested in studying in Poland. The stand was also visited by the group of pupils attending classes of Polish language.
During the stay in Kazakhstan there was a meeting with representatives of education agency in Central Asia.
Ms. Shits participated also in the seminar on the programme Erasmus+ with a representative of National Erasmus+ Agency in Poland.
The representatives of Polish universities also met with “Polonia” and employees of Polish Consulate General in Almaty.
