The event began with a visit from the CESAER Secretariat to WUT, where they met with Rector Prof. Krzysztof Zaremba and other university representatives. The discussions focused on key challenges faced by technical universities at regional, national, and European levels, as well as WUT's role within CESAER. Participants also reviewed the current and future action plans of the association, with a particular emphasis on engaging academic staff.
The CESAER Board of Directors meeting followed, where a crucial topic was the role of technical universities in European security—a priority of Poland's Presidency in the EU Council.
In the evening, attendees had the opportunity to learn about EcoBean —a startup focused on sustainability, and explore the WUT campus. The day concluded with a dinner with Rector.

The session was opened by Prof. Mariusz Malinowski, Vice-Rector for Research at WUT, who presented the university's approach to securing funding. Topics included the Erasmus+ budget for the next financial period and CESAER's guidelines for strategic international partnerships.
The final day started with another session of the Task Force on Sustainable Funding, where discussions focused on the role of universities in enhancing Europe's competitiveness. Participants also addressed developments in the Horizon Europe program.
