Meeting with the Austrian Cooperative Research Delegation at Warsaw University of Technology

On April 27, 2026, Prof. Mariusz Malinowski, Vice-Rector for Research at the Warsaw University of Technology, met with a delegation from Austrian Cooperative Research (ACR), an association of Austrian research institutes. The Austrian delegation also included representatives of two ministries: the Federal Ministry for Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy and Tourism.

Visit of the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Warsaw University of Technology

On April 29, 2026, Prof. Mariusz Malinowski, Vice-Rector for Research at the Warsaw University of Technology, met with His Excellency Miguel Berger, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Poland, and Dr. Monika Schidorowitz, Head of the Science and Research Department at the German Embassy in Warsaw. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Piotr Dardziński, Director of the WUT Innovation Center, and Grzegorz Robak, Director of the Centre for International Cooperation.

Grant from the T.I.M.E. Association for Warsaw University of Technology

On April 3, 2026, the Warsaw University of Technology received a decision awarding a grant of €10,000 from the T.I.M.E. Association for the implementation of the project entitled T.I.M.E.–VEN (Virtual Exchange Network). The project will be carried out from April 2026 to April 2027.

Warsaw University of Technology's Educational Mission to Türkiye

On 28–29 March 2026, representatives of the Centre for International Cooperation — Magdalena Nałęcz and Olga Świderska — represented our university at the 47th International Education Fair in Istanbul as part of the Study in Poland programme of the Perspektywy Educational Foundation. CWM’s Participation in the SRT Fair for Students of International Secondary Schools in Warsaw

On 26 March 2026, Olga Świderska and Magdalena Nałęcz from the Centre for International Cooperation (CWM) of the Warsaw University of Technology promoted our university’s offer among students of Warsaw’s international secondary schools at the SRT fair. Academic teachers from WUT co-create the course “Enhancing Sustainable Communication, Professional Competences & AI”

From February to April 2026, Dorota Chromińska and Ilona Zarajczyk-Pawłowska from the Foreign Language Centre at Warsaw University of Technology, along with Anna Rolewicz-Kalińska, PhD, from the Faculty of Environmental Engineering, are participating as co-authors and co-instructors in the international ENHANCE Alliance project “Enhancing Sustainable Communication, Professional Competences & AI”. The project is implemented as an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP). The Polytechnic University of Valencia organised the course (the main organizer on behalf of the UPV was Oksana Polyakova-Nesterenko, PhD from the Department of Applied Linguistics)  in cooperation with Warsaw University of Technology, Berlin University of Technology, and the Lviv and Kyiv Polytechnics, ENHANCE partner universities in Ukraine. Each institution was responsible for delivering one of five online modules. WUT focused on greenwashing, the use of AI in this area, and communication skills.

Kazakhstan Day at Warsaw University of Technology

On March 16, 2026, at Rektorska 4, the Centre for International Cooperation of Warsaw University of Technology, in cooperation with the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Warsaw and students from Kazakhstan studying at the university, organized Kazakhstan Day.

Hackathon HACK-4-SAGES: Digital Twins in Astrobiology at Warsaw University of Technology

From March 9–13, 2026, the Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering at Warsaw University of Technology hosted the hybrid HACK-4-SAGES hackathon, focused on the application of digital twin concepts in astrobiology. Eighteen participants attended the on-site part in Warsaw. At the same time, students competed at Gdańsk University of Technology and ETH Zurich. A total of 194 students from 25 countries across five continents applied for the event.

March Session of the ATHENS Programme at WUT 2026

On 16 March 2026, the inauguration of the spring session of the ATHENS Programme took place in Room 315 at the Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography. The courses will run until 21 March 2026.

Meeting with the Ambassador of Bangladesh at WUT

On 4 March 2026, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Poland, His Excellency Mohammad Mainul Islam, paid a visit to Warsaw University of Technology. He was accompanied by the First Secretary of the Embassy, Biswajit Debnath. The guests were received by the Rector of Warsaw University of Technology, Prof. Krzysztof Zaremba, together with the Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Mariusz Malinowski, and the Director of the International Cooperation Centre, Grzegorz Robak.
