Meeting with the delegation from Tsinghua University, China
On May 15, 2025, a delegation from Tsinghua University in China visited the Warsaw University of Technology. Tsinghua University was founded in 1911, is one of the best public universities in China, also ranked 20th in the world universities ranking (QS Top Universities). Located in Beijing, has 32 Schools educating students in almost all fields of science, more than 62 thousand students and 17 thousand employees.

The delegation was received by: Prof. Mariusz Malinowski, Vice-Rector for Research; Prof. Konrad Lewczuk, Vice-Dean for Research at the Faculty of Transport and Chairman of the Senate Committee for International Cooperation; Prof. Marek Wojtyra, Vice-Dean for General and Research Affairs at the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering; Grzegorz Robak, Director of the Centre for International Cooperation; and Patrycja Kluź from the Centre for International Cooperation, responsible for collaboration with Chinese universities.

From the Chinese side, the following participants attended the meeting: Prof. Wang Bing, Dean of the Institute for Aero Engine Dr Xie Qiaofeng, Assistant researcher of Institute for Aero Engine Dr Wen Haocheng, Assistant researcher of Institute for Aero Engine Dr Wang Jikun, Assistant researcher of Spray Combustion and Propulsion Lab
During the meeting, the scientific profiles and achievements of both universities were presented. The discussion focused on opportunities for scientific cooperation, the implementation of joint PhD programs, the exchange of academic staff and students, as well as potential sources of funding for this collaboration.
