The next edition of the series initiated by the French Institute entitled "European Dialogues" will take place in Warsaw on March 11 and 12, 2024.

More than 130 representatives of the ten ENHANCE+ partner universities (see FILM) met in Berlin on February 22-23, 2024, to officially inaugurate the new phase of the project. It continues the activities carried out by the Warsaw University of Technology and the partner universities in the ENHANCE project in 2020-2023. The implementation time of ENHANCE+ covers the years 2023-2027.

The next event from the "Polish-German Scientific Encounters" series will be held on March 7, 2024. The guests will be Prof. Dr. Ir. Largus Angenent and prof. Ph.D. engineer Piotr Oleśkowicz-Popiel, who will talk on the topic: "How can biotechnology contribute to convert carbon and make our world greener?".

Berlin University of Technology invites all students from the ENHANCE Alliance to an international Summer Course on 'Ethics and Epistemology of AI' organised under Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme.

On February 13, 2024, the staff of the Center for International Cooperation of the Warsaw University of Technology - Magdalena Bobryk, Katarzyna Dyrka, Karol Maśluszczak, Marzena Pobojewska, Zenoviya Shits and Marta Szajnowska-Ksit, deputy director - took part in a training course on legalizing the stay of foreign scientists and students in Poland organized at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. The training was conducted by employees of the Department for Foreigners of the Mazovian Provincial Office and the Office for Foreigners

The DAAD scholarship program „ERA Fellowships – Green Hydrogen“ supports German and international Master and PhD students as well as for Postdocs in any topics related to Green Hydrogen.

In the winter semester 2023/2024, three meetings were held as part of the first edition of the Polish-German ‘Sprachcafe’, a project that brought together students from the four technical universities of the ENHANCE consortium: the Technical Universities of Aachen, Berlin, Gdansk and Warsaw.

On 8-9 February 2024, the seventeenth edition of the conference 'Foreign Students in Poland' was held in Poznań, organised as part of the Study in Poland programme run jointly by the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (KRASP) and the 'Perspektywy' Educational Foundation. The event was hosted by the Poznań University of Technology.

On 1 February 2024, the 11th National Information Day was held at the National Stadium in Warsaw. The event was organised by the Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE). 

The sixth edition of the "My PhD in 180 seconds" competition, organised by the French Institute in Poland in cooperation with the French Cultural Centre and Plejada - the Academic Association of Polish Romanists, is now upon us.

On 11 January 2024, the seminar "Together for sustainability: Do we expect too much from science?" took place, organised jointly by the German Embassy, the French Embassy and the Austrian Cultural Forum in Warsaw in cooperation with the Natural History Museum in Berlin under the patronage of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Oksana Polykova-Nestarenko, PhD from the Department of Applied Linguistics of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), which is the part of the ENHANCE Alliance,is paying a didactic and research visit to the Foreign Language Center of the Warsaw University of Technology  from 3.01.2024 to 5.02.2024.

On 27 December 2023, an agreement was signed with the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange for the continuation and development of cooperation with Ukrainian universities. The agreement relates to cooperation with Kyiv University of Technology and Lviv University of Technology as part of the Warsaw University of Technology's activities in the ENHANCE Alliance.

On 27 November 2023, at the iCapital Award ceremony in Marseille, the European Commission announced the winners of the ninth edition of the European Capital of Innovation Awards (iCapital).

On 17 December 2023, the website www.glossary.pw.edu.pl was launched, which contains a database of Polish and English terms most commonly used in our University.

The Embassies of Germany, France and Austria in Poland would like to welcome you at the seminar Together for sustainability: Do we expect too much from science? taking place under the patronage of the Polish Academy of Sciences and with participation of the Natural History Museum, Berlin.

The Foreign Language Centers of the Warsaw University of Technology and three partner universities associated in the ENHANCE Alliance: RWTH Aachen, TU Berlin, Gdańsk University of Technology have initiated the  Polish-German Sprachcafe - a project for the students studying Polish and German at these universities.

From 20 to 24 November 2023 Olga Demydenko, Vice-Dean for International Cooperation of the Faculty of Applied Linguistics at Kyiv Polytechnic University, and Oleksandra Stepaniuk from the Foreign Cooperation Office of Lviv Polytechnic University completed their internship at the Foreign Language Centre of the Warsaw University of Technology within the framework of the NAWA programme Solidarity with Ukraine - European Universities.
