WUT students in four winning teams of the ENHANCE Challenge competition
The Warsaw University of Technology students: Maja Luc, Agnieszka Gados, Rajat Dogra and Tanmay Parshottambhai Engineer, has won together with their teams the ENHANCE Challenge competition organized by the Polytechnic University of Valencia. A total of 6 international student teams were awarded, each of which will receive a cash prize of up to 35,000 EUR and the opportunity to participate in an idea incubation program in the form of a two-day training course at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim or the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
CESAER Secretary General visited the Warsaw University of Technology
Discussing the cooperation of the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) with the CESAER association, summarizing the activities of CESAER task forces, in which 9. employees of our university are involved, and identifying the main challenges for the coming years - these key topics were raised during the meeting of the Secretary General of the CESAER association, David Bohmert, with the vice-rectors and employees of the Warsaw University of Technology. The visit took place on 31 May 2022.
One week to the ENHANCE GIRLS IN STEM competition finals!
14 secondary school female students from Spain, Italy, Sweden and Poland have qualified to the final stage of the ENHANCE competition. The ENHANCE GIRLS IN STEM finals will take place on June 7, 2022 in Warsaw during the "Perspectives Women in Tech Summit 2022" conference - the largest event in Europe for women in the field of IT, technology and science.

Cooperation agreement with Technische Universität Berlin
During the meeting of the Board of Directors and the ENHANCE Steering Committee at the WUT, an agreement on the extension of the strategic cooperation between the Warsaw University of Technology and Technische Universität Berlin was signed.

The meeting of the two main bodies of the ENHANCE Alliance, the Board of Directors and the Steering Committee, which took place at the Warsaw University of Technology on 12-13 May 2022, was attended by delegations of all ENHANCE universities, led by rectors and vice-rectors, and invited guests. The aim of the event was to discuss the strategic directions of ENHANCE development until 2030 in the context of the Strategy for "European Universities" developed by the European Commission.

Online meeting Say Hello to Germany
Say Hello to Germany – the first get-together within the ENHANCE Tandem project On December 20, 2021, the first online get-together Say Hello to Germany within the Language Tandem project was organised. The event was led by Liv Jakbczyk, the DAAD-lektor at Warsaw University of Technology and coorganised by Dorota Chromińska, the proxy for language tandems at the WUT Foreign Language Centre and Joanna Kret, the Language Tandem Coordinator. 30 students from 7 ENHANCE universities took part in the meeting and had the opportunity to expand their knowledge about Germany and integrate with people from the ENHANCE Tandem community.
Japan-Europe Master on Advanced Robotics (JEMARO)
The Japan-Europe Master on Advanced Robotics (JEMARO) is a 2-year integrated programme (120 ECTS or 30 Japanese Credits). It's goal is to allow students to better understand different perspectives in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (related to both academia and industry) across Europe (France, Italy and Poland) and Japan.
December online meeting for international students
On the 20th of December 2021, the International Students Office held an online meeting for international students. During the meeting, we discussed some formal issues, among others, the recognition of foreign high school leaving certificates, National Health Fund insurance for students, working in Poland and applying for a temporary residence card.
ATHENS Programme session at the Warsaw University of Technology
On November 13-20, 2021, the first session of the ATHENS Program was held after the break caused by the pandemics.
Summary of workshop Modular training toolkit for students engaged in ENHANCE activities
On November 5, 2021, Warsaw University of Technology organised an international workshop on the creation of a modular set of training tools for students involved in ENHANCE activities. The workshop was conducted online with the use of IT tools: WebEx and Miro. The event was attended by 13 representatives of six universities that are part of the ENHANCE consortium: students, scientists, academic teachers and administrative staff.
