Meeting of the Rectors of the universities of technology of Kiev and Warsaw
Prof. Michael Zgurovsky, Rector of the National Technical University of Ukraine - Kyiv Polytechnic University, visited our University, where he met with the Rector of WUT Prof. Krzysztof Zaremba and the Rector of PW from 2005 to 2012 Prof. Włodzimierz Kurnik.

The talks focused on the joint activities of the universities. Kyiv and Warsaw universities of technology have been implementing a cooperation agreement since 2006. During the meeting, the Rectors discussed updating and extending it, including in the areas of modern education and the mobility of students, teachers and researchers. Prof. Zgurovsky and Prof. Zaremba also discussed the participation of representatives of Kyiv Polytechnic University in the Language Tandems project. This is one of the activities of the ENHANCE consortium of European universities, to which the Warsaw University of Technology belongs and of which the Kyiv University of Technology is an associate partner. Thanks to this project, students, doctoral students and employees can meet people from the universities forming the ENHANCE consortium and learn their languages, as well as help them learn their own.
The rectors also discussed further visits by university representatives to Kiev and Warsaw. This will be a good opportunity to expand cooperation between academic staff and students.
