Graduation ceremony of the EuroAquae+ international study programme

On 9 September, a ceremony was held in the Senate Hall of the Warsaw University of Technology to award diplomas of completion of the international Master of Science Programme in Euro Hydroinformatics and Water Management (EuroAquae+). Graduates received their diplomas from the Dean of the Faculty of Building Services, Hydro and Environmental Engineering, Paweł Popielski, and representatives of partner universities.

The event was also attended by invited guests - representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Foundation for the Development of the Education System, the National Agency for Academic Exchange and the programme's industrial partners.

The EuroAquae+ project has been implemented since 2016 by the Faculty of Building Services, Hydro and Environmental Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology in collaboration with four European universities: Polytech Nice Sophia - Université Côte d'Azur, Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg, Technical University of Catalonia and University of Newcastle upon Tyne.

The main advantages of the programme include the broad internationalisation of the studies, through the opportunity to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge at various European universities in the field of hydroinformatics. The graduate receives a joint diploma from all five universities participating in the curriculum. This diploma increases the chances of getting a job in renowned international institutions and corporations that deal with issues related to the broad field of hydroinformatics in their field of activity.
