Competition for PhD Students with Scholarships – Canada – Deadline: April 30, 2026

CONDITIONS AND SELECTION

Applicants must be Polish citizens permanently residing in Poland, holding an engineering degree from a Polish university, and enrolled at a Polish university or research institute in pursuit of a doctoral degree. Research must be conducted by engineers in the field linking engineering and medical sciences.

During the selection process, the following will be taken into account:

• the topic of the doctoral dissertation and its impact on science,
• the applicant’s academic achievements,
• recommendations from the supervisor and two independent academic researchers.

The Board will individually review applications from candidates who have not yet opened their doctoral proceedings. Additional documents may be required.

GRANT

Each of the two selected candidates will receive a one-time, non-refundable grant of 4,000 Canadian dollars (approx. PLN 10,500).

APPLICATIONS

The completed application form and required documents must be sent to the Canadian address by April 30, 2026. The postmark date will be decisive. The Foundation’s Board will make its decision by September 2026.
