INDONESIA DAY AT WARSAW UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY

On 14 March 2023, the International Students Office being part of the Centre for International Cooperation with Syifa Najla Agdhiani, a Biotechnology student and WUT’s ambassador as part of the Student Ambassadors Programme, organised the Indonesia Day.

Indonesia

It was the first event this year in the series of National Days at WUT. The meeting was co-organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Warsaw, represented by the First Secretary Ms Yoan Nike Afilia. The event was attended by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs of WUT Professor Robert Zalewski.

Currently, there are 21 Bachelor, Master and PhD students from Indonesia at WUT. The Indonesia Day was a great opportunity to find out interesting facts about the geography of this country, Indonesian culture, tourist destinations, cuisine, traditional clothes, fauna and language. The participants could also try Indonesian snacks provided by the Embassy of Indonesia: Dadar Gulung and Mayonnaise Risoles and test their knowledge in a quiz about Indonesia.

We would like to thank the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia and our student ambassador Syifa for their immense commitment to preparing the event. Thank you all international and Polish students, PhD students and WUT’s employees for joining the event. We invite you to future national days organised by our office.
