Meeting with Representatives of Taiwanese Government Institutions at Warsaw University of Technology

On 1 September 2026, Warsaw University of Technology hosted a governmental delegation from Taiwan. The delegation comprised senior management representatives from 12 ministries and central government agencies and was led by Minister Su Chun-Jung of the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration.

The guests were welcomed by Professor Robert Zalewski, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs of Warsaw University of Technology. Representatives of Warsaw University of Technology also included Grzegorz Robak, Director of the International Relations Office; Aleksandra Mościcka-Studzińska, Deputy Director of CEZAMAT; representatives of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science (Professor Maciej Grzenda); and representatives of the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology (Professor Tomasz Borejko, Professor Robert Nowak, Professor Mariusz Rawski, and Dr Andrzej Wielgus).

During the visit, the scientific and educational potential of Warsaw University of Technology was presented, with particular emphasis on the University's priority research areas and opportunities for cooperation with Taiwan.

Representatives of the faculties presented their research activities, discussed current research and educational cooperation with Taiwanese universities, and outlined opportunities for future collaboration. Grzegorz Robak delivered a general presentation on Warsaw University of Technology, highlighting international educational formats developed in cooperation with partner universities within the ENHANCE Alliance. Aleksandra Mościcka-Studzińska presented CEZAMAT’s research staff potential and advanced infrastructure, as well as possible areas for future cooperation. The Taiwanese delegates showed particular interest in technological solutions related to energy, smart cities, and models of cooperation between universities, ministries, and government agencies in Poland.
