Meeting with the Austrian Cooperative Research Delegation at Warsaw University of Technology
On April 27, 2026, Prof. Mariusz Malinowski, Vice-Rector for Research at the Warsaw University of Technology, met with a delegation from Austrian Cooperative Research (ACR), an association of Austrian research institutes. The Austrian delegation also included representatives of two ministries: the Federal Ministry for Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy and Tourism.

The Vice-Rector opened the meeting by presenting the activities and scientific potential of the University. Iris Filzwieser, President of Austrian Cooperative Research, then introduced the organization’s activities and opportunities for international cooperation. During the subsequent part of the meeting, participants attended presentations by the Innovation Center, the Center for Advanced Materials and Technologies CEZAMAT, and the Centre for International Cooperation.

Support for researchers in the field of technology transfer offered by the Innovation Center was presented by Justyna Choińska-Jackiewicz, Head of the Innovation Brokers Department, Dr. Eng. Jakub Kaczmarski, Head of the Innovation Incubator Department, and Piotr Bednarski from the Intellectual Property Protection Department. Aleksandra Mościcka-Studzińska, Deputy Director of the Center for Advanced Materials and Technologies CEZAMAT, presented the research potential of CEZAMAT. Grzegorz Robak, Director of the Centre for International Cooperation, discussed the scientific cooperation of the Warsaw University of Technology with Austrian universities and research institutes, educational cooperation with Austrian universities within the Erasmus+ and ATHENS programs, and cooperation with Austrian companies.

An important part of the event was the discussion on opportunities for developing joint research projects and building long-term cooperation.
