On Thursday Prof. Jan Słyk participated in the session entitled ‘The Future of Alliances - Expectations and Challenges’. Prof. Słyk emphasised in his speech that in programmes such as the ‘European Universities’, which are characterised by a very high level of innovation and are currently in the transition from pilot to implementation phase, standardisation of key areas of the alliances' operation, including terminology, is needed. Harmonisation of such standards at the European level will guarantee their sustainability. Standardisation of services for students who participate in international mobility is also needed. This kind of action will have a direct impact on increasing mobility. He also raised the issue of the flexibility of alliances in the context of including new universities in alliances. A session recording can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/live/b8ag8xPZuEk
