Physics Informed Machine Learning Applications to Geotechnical Engineering programme at RWTH Aachen

RWTH Aachen invites all master's students in engineering, geophysics, computer science and applied mathematics to participate in its first ENHANCE Blended Intensive Programme on “Physics Informed Machine Learning Applications to Geotechnical Engineering”.  

The course is organized by the Institute of Geomechanics and Underground Technology of RWTH Aachen and consisits of two parts:

1. 18-19 July 2022 – on-line

A two-day introductory course aimed at discussing principles behind machine learning and introducing tools, which will be used during workshops at RWTH Aachen, mainly Python code written in Jupyter Notebooks.

2. 25-29 July 2022 – onsite at RWTH Aachen

A hackathon-style workshop aimed at applying newly acquired theoretical knowledge and tools.
