Presentation of the Ivan Vyhovsky Award
On May 21, 2024, the Ivan Vyhovsky Prize presentation ceremony was held in the Senate Hall in the Kazimierz Palace of the UW, 26/28 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street. The event was attended by Grzegorz Robak, Director of the Center for International Cooperation at the WUT.

This year's Laureate was Prof. Maryna Paliienko from Kyiv.
The laureate of the Prize, in the broadly defined humanities, is given the opportunity for a year's scientific residency at 6 Polish universities visited consecutively, where he/she can give lectures on topics related to the history or present-day of Ukraine and the region, Polish-Ukrainian relations, as well as undertake his/her own archival and research work.

The prize named after Ivan Vyhovsky aims to honour the merits of Ukrainian citizens in the development of science, culture and public life, in the formation and development of civil society in Ukraine and in building a democratic Ukraine - directed towards Europe, taking into account the best traditions of the former Republic and the historical, contemporary and future ties of Ukraine with Poland and Europe.
