Promotion of Warsaw University of Technology’s Educational Offer in Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan
On April 16, 2026, Grzegorz Robak, Director of the Centre for International Cooperation at Warsaw University of Technology, and Magdalena Nałęcz, from the International Students Office, represented WUT at the Education & Profession Fair 2026 in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, as part of the Study in Poland program run by the Perspektywy Educational Foundation.
On April 17, 2026, they visited three secondary schools in Samarkand, including one international school, where they presented the study offer of Warsaw University of Technology.
On April 19, 2026, the representatives took part in the Student Recruitment Fair in Baku, Azerbaijan. On April 20, 2026, they met with students and teachers from two international schools in Baku: the British School and the European Azerbaijan School.
Prospective students showed particular interest in programs such as Architecture, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Robotics and Automatic Control, as well as in the English preparatory course offered by the English Language Centre of Warsaw University of Technology.
Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan have highly favorable demographic structures, with a large share of young people in their populations. Among international students studying in Poland, students from Azerbaijan rank fifth, while those from Uzbekistan rank ninth, according to the report “International Students in Poland 2025” prepared under the “Study in Poland” program.
