Representatives of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Visit Warsaw University of Technology
On 5 October 2026, a delegation from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) visited Warsaw University of Technology (WUT). The meeting provided an opportunity to present both universities and discuss potential areas of cooperation.

Warsaw University of Technology was represented by Prof. Robert Zalewski, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs; Prof. Tomasz Starecki, Dean of the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology; Prof. Anna Krztoń-Maziopa, Dean’s Representative for International Programmes at the Faculty of Chemistry; Grzegorz Robak, Director of the Centre for International Cooperation; and Patrycja Kluź from the Centre for International Cooperation. The programme included presentations of both universities, followed by a discussion on potential areas for future cooperation.
The delegation from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology included representatives of various areas of the university’s activities. Among them was Prof. Bertram Shi, Dean of the HKUST Fok Ying Tung Graduate School, representing the fields of electronic and computer engineering, as well as robotics and autonomous systems. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Yoonseob Kim, representing the School of Engineering and the Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies; Grace Tsang, Head of Postgraduate Outreach and Admissions at the HKUST Fok Ying Tung Graduate School; and William Ho, Assistant Manager at the same unit.
