Siemens pays visit to Warsaw University of Technology

On 25th of August 2016 Warsaw University of Technology hosted a representatives of Siemens. The aim of the meeting was to acquaint visitors with the educational and scientific-research offer of WUT as well as potential cooperation between the parties.

Warsaw University of Technology has been cooperating with Siemens for years in the fields of joint research projects and supporting the student research groups. Moreover, since 1995 the best research teams and graduates of polish technical schools have been granted by Siemens.

Strongly interested in cooperation with WUT was Siemens Industry Software - business unit of Siemens based in India, a world-leading provider of Product Lifecycle Management and manufacturing operations management software.

Themes covered during the meeting are as follows:

  • possibility of conducting joint researches
  • training  scientific staff for Siemens
  • possibility of using Siemens solutions for study programmes certification

CEZAMAT research center and emerging laboratory was of particular interest to our guests.

In the meeting took part prof. Rajmund Bacewicz, Vice-Rector for Research; prof. dr hab. inz. Andrzej Kolasa, Dean of the Faculty of Production Engineering; Łukasz Wojdyga, Director of the Centre for International Cooperation as well as representatives of Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics and Information Technology.
