Summary of workshop Modular training toolkit for students engaged in ENHANCE activities

On November 5, 2021, Warsaw University of Technology organised an international workshop on the creation of a modular set of training tools for students involved in ENHANCE activities. The workshop was conducted online with the use of IT tools: WebEx and Miro. The event was attended by 13 representatives of six universities that are part of the ENHANCE consortium: students, scientists, academic teachers and administrative staff.

The aim of the workshop is to increase the participation of students as co-creators of the teaching and learning process. This can be done through the participation of students in research, design and implementation of scholarship projects together with university employees, participation of students in committees evaluating draft curricula and in the process of assessing and co-creating courses and curricula.

During six discussion sessions conducted in the form of an "online coffee table", the participants developed the assumptions for creating training tools for students involved in ENHANCE activities. They identified the challenges facing the consortium and recommendations for further actions. The most important of them are: the need to create a networking space for university stakeholders; the existence of multi-level relationships between the student and the teacher; the need to implement projects for which there is a real demand; discrepancy in the communication tools used by different groups, and the need for bilateral transparency in the assessment process.
