The General Meeting of ATHENS Programme Members, June 2015
On 12th and 13th of May in Madrid (Spain), the General Meeting of ATHENS Programme Members took place. Among the participants were coordinators from most of the institutions belonging to the ATHENS Network. Warsaw University of Technology was represented by Ms. Dominika Frąk-Dudzińska, ATHENS Programme Coordinator.
General Meetings of ATHENS Programme Members take place twice a year: in December (in one of the ParisTech schools) and in May or June (in one of the European partner universities). Their topics are key matters connected to participation in the ATHENS Network and with organization and course of the programme sessions.
This year’s June meeting took place at Universidad Politecnica de Madrid. It was opened by Professor Narciso GARCIA, Vice Rector for international Relations. Agenda of the meeting included i.a.: summary of March 2015 session and discussion on encountered difficulties and possible solutions. Representatives of one of the partners, Instituto Superior Tecnica Lisboa (Portugal) presented a project of the Network’s new website which was designed and created by them. Another discussed topics were future possibilities of development of the ATHENS network as well as plans of organization of the upcoming session which is going to take place between 14th and 22nd of November 2015.
Participants of the meeting were also officially informed that the General Coordinator Ms. Liliane Dagonneau has decided to retire. New General Coordinator will be designated soon.
