The YES! Erasmus+ Competition Is Now Open – DEADLINE 31.08.2026

The Centre for International Relations and Dialogue at the University of Warsaw invites students and doctoral candidates to participate in the nationwide photo and video competition “Your Experiences Story – YES! Erasmus+”, funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

The competition is open to students and doctoral candidates at Polish universities who participated in academic mobility programmes during the 2024/2025 or 2025/2026 academic years. The prize is a four-day study trip to the seats of the European Parliament.

Until 31 August 2026, the organisers are accepting competition entries that present at least one of the following three themes in an engaging and creative way:

• Learning (modern laboratories, libraries, classes)
• Cultural life (discovering traditions, everyday life, art)
• Community and society (international friendships, breaking stereotypes)

To participate, simply create a unique video or photo and submit your entry via the competition website. What kind of entries can be submitted?

• VIDEO – an Instagram Reel, tagged with #yeserasmus #yourexperiencestory #erasmus. Add the organiser’s profile @yes_erasmus_ as a collaborator and submit the link to your Reel in the application form. The organisers are accepting Full HD videos in vertical or horizontal format, lasting between 30 and 90 seconds, prepared in MP4 or MOV format.
• PHOTO – a single, high-quality photograph capturing the spirit of your exchange experience. The file should be in JPG or PNG format and have a high resolution suitable for printing (a minimum of 300 DPI and at least 2400 pixels on the longer side is recommended). The application form will convert the entry to WebP format. In September, selected participants will be asked to submit the print-ready file by email.

Each participant may submit a maximum of one entry in each category. Entries must not be AI-generated or digitally manipulated. Any materials used, particularly music, sound effects, video footage or graphics, must come from publicly available sources, or the participant must hold the relevant rights or licences for their use. Participants must also ensure that they have the necessary consent to use the image of any people appearing in their entries.

The authors of the best entries will win a study visit to the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg, combined with sightseeing tours of the cities, planned for November! The organisers will cover transportation, accommodation, meals and insurance. In addition, the 12 best photographs will be featured in a limited-edition promotional calendar for 2027!
