Visit of UK Association for University Administrators (AUA) delegation to WUT

On 11th May 2015 representatives of UK Association for University Administrators (AUA) paid a visit to Warsaw University of Technology. AUA is a British organization (with more than 50 years of history) promoting excellence in higher education management. Currently, it has more than 4,500 members both in the UK and around the world.

Every year AUA organizes study visits to different countries and this year they decided to visit Poland. The delegation visited higher education institutions in Warsaw, Cracow and Poznań.

During the meeting Warsaw University of Technology was represented by Prof. Krzysztof Lewenstein, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Władysław Wieczorek, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Ms. Marta Szajnowska-Ksit, Deputy Director of the Centre for International Cooperation. After presentation of both institutions, the discussion has started. Members of the AUA delegation were interested in particular in topics concerning university management (and role of students’ organizations in this process), quality of education and internationalization.
