Visit of the President of North China University of Technology with delegation

On 13th March 2015 the President of North China University of Technology with accompanying delegation visited Warsaw University of Technology.

The delegation consisted of:

  • Prof. Wang Xiaochun, President
  • Prof. Jia Dong, Dean of Scool of Architecture and Art S
  • Mr. Xiong Jiaquan, Director, International Office

WUT was represented by:

  • Prof. Krzysztof Lewenstein, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs
  • Prof. Stefan Wrona, Dean, Faculty of Architecture
  • Prof. Jerzy Wojtowicz, Faculty of Architecture
  • Ms. Marta Szajnowska-Ksit, Deputy Director, Centre for International Cooperation

The visit was aimed at renewal of cooperation (which dates back to 2004) between NCUT and WUT. Participants of the meeting decided to undersign a Memorandum of Understanding. This document will help to establish closer contacts in the areas of education and scientific research (first of all, in the field of architecture and in other fields in the future) and will enable student and staff exchange.

North China University of Technology is a publicly - funded and multi-disciplinary university offering programs in science, engineering, arts, economics, management and law. There are almost 11 000 students including almost 500 overseas students. NCUT places great importance on the cooperation and exchanges with foreign countries and established relationships with more than 30 universities and colleges in USA, Japan, Germany, UK, France, Australia and New Zealand.
