Fourth ENHANCE Staff Week at TU Berlin

On 27 - 29 September 2022, TU Berlin hosted 17 representatives of European technical universities participating in the ENHANCE Alliance. The theme of the fourth ENHANCE Staff Week was good practice in supporting the professional development of non-academic staff.

Representatives of the partner institutions presented the activities in this area undertaken in their organisational units and shared their thoughts and observations on the opportunities and challenges on the way to further improving the training and development offer for university administration staff. The participants then discussed possible forms of collaboration and sharing of resources so as to create common training and development tools aimed at the community of all ENHANCE universities.

The representatives Warsaw University of Technology: Anita Wierzbicka, Deputy Head of the Office of Personnel Affairs, Elżbieta Cwalina, Head of the Training Department, and Gabriela Hołdanowicz representing the Department of Research and Analysis Department, took an active part in the meetings, giving a presentation with the Warsaw University of Technology's offer of activities supporting non-academic employees who are not academic staff and deepening their knowledge of training and development practices that have proven successful in other organisations. During the event, it was highlighted how important cooperation with partner universities and the sharing of experiences will play a role in the further development of the organisational units participating in the meeting. It is hoped that future meetings of the ENHANCE network will prove to be equally fruitful and allow for the joint development of further effective solutions to support university staff.
