Visit of the State Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Research, Development, and Youth of the Slovak Republic at WUT

On February 11, 2025, Róbert Zsembera, State Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Research, Development, and Youth of the Slovak Republic, visited the Warsaw University of Technology with a delegation consisting of: Martin Cimerman, Deputy Ambassador of the Slovak Republic in Poland; Marcel Vysocký, Director General for Higher Education, Internationalization, and Quality of Education; Michal Káčerík, Director General for Strategic Development and Investments in Higher Education; Michal Hajtol, Director of the Minister's Office; and Sandra Gazareková, Head of the Multilateral Cooperation Department.

From Warsaw University of Technology, the meeting was attended by: Prof. Mariusz Malinowski, Vice-Rector for Research; Prof. Paweł Pyrzanowski, Director of the Doctoral School; Prof. Konrad Lewczuk, Deputy Dean for Research (Faculty of Transport); Prof. Michał Sarnowski (Faculty of Civil Engineering); and Grzegorz Robak, Director of the Center for International Cooperation.

The discussions focused on the current cooperation between Warsaw University of Technology and Slovak universities, including expanding cooperation in the Erasmus+ program and short-term educational programs run by WUT as part of the ENHANCE Alliance's activities. The State Secretary was particularly interested in the programs supporting talented students at Warsaw University of Technology and the doctoral education model in the doctoral school.
