Education Fair in Baku
Between 6th-11th October 2016 Ms.Katarzyna Janiga and Ms.Dominika Frąk-Dudzińska from Center of International Cooperation represented Warsaw University of Technology on Education Fair in Baku, Azerbaijan.
10th Azerbaijan International Education Exhibition was organized within the project Ready, Study, GO! Poland! conducted by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Foundation for the Development of the Education System. The Fair was adressed to secondary school and university students who wish to continue their studies at other universities.
Warsaw University of Technology was one of several Polish universities, which could present its offer at the Ready, Study, GO! Poland booth and one of the two universities with strictly technical profile. Apart from Warsaw University of Technology, the fair was also attended by representatives of AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Warsaw School of Economics in Warsaw, Poznan University of Economics and the School of Ecology and Management in Warsaw.
An important element of the delegation in Azerbaijan was a visit to Azerbaijan Technical University, which gave the opportunity to talk with the head of the international office, Dr. Natig Akhmadov and to meet with with school students in order to familiarize them with the English Studies offered by WUT and explain the various stages of the application process. The meeting served as an opportunity to discuss the possibilities of cooperation between Azerbaijan Technical University and Warsaw University of Technology, especially in the fields of student exchange.
