Report on participation in EHEF and meetings, Indonesia 2015
Between 27th October and 6th November 2015 a delegation of Centre for International Cooperation consisting of Mrs. Dominika Frąk – Dudzińska and Ms. Małgorzata Musińska visited Indonesia. The visit was aimed at participation in the European Higher Education Fair (EHEF) 2015 ,promotion of our University and our offer of studies in English during various meetings, as well as at establishing cooperation with Indonesian universities and institutions.
The delegation took part in EHEF 2015 in Jakarta on 31st October and 1st November and in Yogyakarta on 3rd November. Our University’s booth was very popular in both cities and was visited by several hundred students. Visitors were inquiring mainly about graduate studies, showing particular interest in the following fields: computer science, aerospace engineering, environmental engineering, power engineering, applied biotechnology.
Moreover, during the stay in Indonesia, the delegates of Centre for International Cooperation met representatives of international high school (Sekolah Pelita Harapan - Kemang Village), and 2 HEIs interested in establishing cooperation with WUT in the areas of student exchange and research (Universitas Pelita Harapan i DEL Institute of Technology). They have also paid visits to 2 ministries which offer scholarships for studies abroad (LPDP and DIKTI), to obtain information on possibilities of being officially acknowledged by them, which would allow Indonesian candidates to apply for scholarships for studies at WUT. During the meetings with abovementioned universities and ministries WUT delegation was accompanied by the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Poland Peter F. Gontha.
