Report on participation in international education fairs - Ukraine, March 2017

On 24th-25th March 2017, Ms. Zenoviya Shits from the Centre for International Cooperation was representing the Warsaw University of Technology at the international education fair “Higher Education-2017" in Lviv organized by the International Centre of Education.

For 2 days the Warsaw University of Technology was promoted among Ukrainian youth and attracted great interest as one of the best technical universities in Poland. The stand was visited by candidates interested in studying in Poland as well as by their parents. Due to the cultural and territorial proximity between Ukraine and Poland, studies in Poland are the most attractive among Ukrainian youth, as evidenced by the constantly increasing number of students from Ukraine. Strong promotional activities on the Ukrainian market and a wide range of our university including not only educational programs, as well as language and preparatory courses, not only lead to an impressive number of students choosing our university, and also spread good reputation and high prestige of our university.

WUT’s stand was also visited by the students of partner universities, including Lviv Polytechnic University, National Academy of Printing and the National University. Often they are interested in Master’s studies in Warsaw University of Technology.

During the stay in Lviv Ms. Zenoviya Shits also met pupils of math high school and representatives of educational agencies.
