NUS FASStrack Asia 2015, Singapore

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) will be offering FASStrack Asia: the Summer School from 22 June to 25 July in 2015, and like to welcome your students to spend a few weeks in the summer at NUS.

This 5-week summer school will focus on Asian-related topics and issues to offer students an insight into the fastest-growing region in the world. Courses are offered in different disciplines such as Asian Studies, Political Science, Food Science, Cultural studies as well as in Economics with special emphasis on various Asian regions. There are also Asian language classes on offer. Some of these courses feature an 8 to 10 days’ field trip to countries such as China, Japan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar and Thailand, as well as local field trips in Singapore.

Students get to stay on-campus at NUS’ residential colleges and combine living, studying and playing on-campus for a comprehensive summer experience in NUS. To encourage diversity and cultural exchange, your students will study and live with NUS students and other international students from top universities around the world, join in social activities to learn about Singapore, and get an opportunity to explore the rest of Asia!

Nominating students for FASStrack on student exchange/fee waiver basis

NUS has agreed to waive the tuition fee of S$2,590 per course (all other fees apply) for student(s) from Warsaw University of Technology under the existing student exchange agreement.

Non-NUS students who apply by 15 February 2015 do not need to pay the SGD$200 application fees. Please do let your students know about this summer school. PLEASE NOTE! Only candidates nominated by Professor Teresa Zielińska (Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering), Coordinator of the MoU between WUT and NTU are eligible to apply. GPA of at least 4,0 is required.

Candidates are obliged to deliver to the Centre for International Cooperation (room 233C in WUT Main Building) a written permission of their Home Faculties’ Authorities to apply.
