Recruitment for the ATHENS programme - March 2026 session - DEADLINE 21.09.2026
Warsaw University of Technology students are invited to apply for the ATHENS programme. The programme lasts for one week and is run at 15 polytechnics across Europe. It consists of a 5-day specialist course (30 hours) and a cultural part. 2-3 ECTS credits can be obtained. Participation in the ATHENS programme is free of charge. Students cover their living expenses on their own.

ENHANCE Summer School 2026: Reimagining Waste – Ethical and Sustainable Solutions in Waste Management
On 6 July 2026, the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering hosted the inauguration of the on-site part of the Reimagining Waste: Ethical and Sustainable Solutions in Waste Management Summer School (Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme), organised by Warsaw University of Technology in cooperation with Chalmers University of Technology and the Universitat Politècnica de València within the ENHANCE Alliance. Inauguration of the ENHANCE “Summer School in Data Literacy: Students’ Drop-out” at WUT
On 22 June 2026, the inauguration of the on-site part of the ENHANCE ‘Summer School in Data Literacy: students' drop-out’, took place at the building located at 4 Rektorska Street. The summer school was organized by the Warsaw University of Technology in cooperation with the Polytechnic University of Valencia and the Polytechnic University of Milan. Thanks to funding from the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), 25 students from ENHANCE partner universities are participating in the summer school.

Annual ENHANCE Diversity Office Meeting 2026 at WUT
From 8 to 11 June 2026, diversity experts, practitioners, and students from the partner universities of the ENHANCE Alliance, of which Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) is a member, gathered in Warsaw for the annual ENHANCE Diversity Office Meeting. The event was dedicated to translating the principles of inclusion into concrete actions implemented across the Alliance. This year’s edition was hosted by Warsaw University of Technology. On behalf of WUT, the event was coordinated by Dr. Grzegorz Ganczewski, ENHANCE+ Project Manager at the Development Projects Centre (CPR), together with the CPR team: Monika Żelaźik, Aneta Nowakowska, Katarzyna Krawczyk, and Angelika Chrzanowska.
Meeting with International Alumni of Warsaw University of Technology
On June 15, the Centre for International Cooperation organised a meeting with international alumni of Warsaw University of Technology in Room 206 of the Main Building as part of the celebrations marking the University's 200th anniversary. The event accompanied the Warsaw University of Technology Alumni Reunion. The meeting was initiated by Grzegorz Robak, Director of the Centre for International Cooperation. Seven international alumni of the University took part in the event.

The German Bundestag invites applications for the International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) 2027, which will take place from 1 March to 31 July 2027 in Berlin. The programme is held under the patronage of the President of the German Bundestag.
Visit of the Chalmers Student Housing Foundation Delegation to Warsaw University of Technology
On 26 May 2026, a delegation of 21 representatives from the Chalmers Student Housing Foundation visited Warsaw University of Technology (WUT). Chalmers is WUT’s partner university within the ENHANCE Alliance. The purpose of the visit was to learn about the support Warsaw University of Technology offers students in the areas of accommodation and other services, as well as to conduct study visits to two student dormitories. Preparations for the visit were coordinated by WUT’s Centre for International Cooperation.
Presentation of the Ivan Vyhovskyi Award
On May 22, 2026, the Centre for East European Studies of the University of Warsaw organized the Ivan Vyhovskyi Award Ceremony at the Tyszkiewicz-Potocki Palace under the Honorary Patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland, Karol Nawrocki. Warsaw University of Technology was represented by Grzegorz Robak, Director of the WUT Centre for International Cooperation.

The Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme “Disrupting the Corridor. New Scenarios for Water/Ground Mobilities” is an interdisciplinary learning opportunity that aims at investigating how water, land, and energy infrastructures interact across the Adriatic land-sea basin, particularly focusing on the terraqueous corridor between Albania and Italy.

From 18 to 22 May 2026, sixteen employees of RWTH Aachen University, a partner university of Warsaw University of Technology within the ENHANCE Alliance, participated in the Staff Week at our university. The Staff Week program was prepared by the Centre for International Cooperation at WUT in collaboration with 5 faculties and 6 administrative departments of the University.
