WUT Students and Staff Take Part in Warsaw City Info Day

On 9 and 24 October 2026, newly admitted international students of the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT), together with representatives of the Centre for International Cooperation (CWM) – Joanna Gołębiowska and Aleksandra Sułecka from the Erasmus+ Office and Magdalena Nałęcz from the International Students Office – took part in the Warsaw City Info Day events held at the Palace of Culture and Science and organised by the City of Warsaw.

During presentations and individual consultations at the stands of municipal institutions, students had the opportunity to discover the wide range of cultural, sports and recreational activities available in the capital. They also learned more about safety in the city, public transport and municipal institutions providing support to international residents.

Each participant also received welcome gifts from the city and a free admission ticket to one of the institutions supervised by the City of Warsaw.

The event was also a great opportunity to meet students from other Warsaw universities and enjoy informal conversations over coffee and tea.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the City of Warsaw for this initiative, the organisation of the events and the invitation to this year's Warsaw City Info Day. These meetings gave students a chance to experience first-hand that Warsaw is a welcoming, friendly and open city for students from around the world.
