Call for Applications: Fulbright Specialist Program 2027–2028 – DEADLINE: 8 January 2027
The Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission is accepting applications for the Fulbright Specialist Program 2027–2028. The program enables Polish institutions to invite U.S. specialists to Poland to jointly carry out a project during a visit lasting between 14 and 42 days.
Polish host institutions wishing to invite a specialist from the United States may submit applications describing their proposed projects. These may involve delivering or participating in lectures, seminars and workshops, symposia and conferences, providing consultations on curriculum development and the professional development of administrative staff and academic and research personnel, conducting evaluations and expert assessments, or developing local programs and/or research projects.
The Fulbright Specialist Program provides the specialist with an honorarium and round-trip airfare to and from Poland. The host institution is responsible for providing accommodation and meals and covering domestic travel expenses.
Under the current call for applications, Polish institutions may submit proposals outlining the purpose of a specialist's visit to Poland, to take place between 1 September 2027 and 30 September 2028.
