Outgoing students

ELIGIBILITY

Students of the Warsaw University of Technology who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for the student exchange based on bilateral agreements:

  • Candidates must be enrolled for full-time undergraduate or graduate programmes at Warsaw University of Technology (hereinafter referred to as "WUT”) that signed an agreement on student exchange with foreign Higher Education Institution (hereafter referred to as “Host University”).
  • Candidates must obtain a written permission for applying from Faculty Authorities.

  • Candidates for student exchange have to be officially nominated by WUT.
  • Candidates must meet the application criteria of the Host University.
  • Exchange students are required to be proficient in English (or another language of instruction of the Host University).
  • Other requirements and specific terms of student exchange (exchange period, financial conditions, etc.) are regulated by the bilateral agreement between WUT and the Host University.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY MADRAS

Offer addressed to: undergraduate and graduate and Ph. D. students

Number of exchange students: Each institution will accept up to 3 students each year.

Length of stay: Participants may not spend more than one year normally in the exchange programme.

Tuition fee: Neither institution will require admission or tuition fees of exchange students.

Financial responsibility of exchange students: Each exchange student will pay his own personal expenses incurred at the Host Institution, including visa, travel, health insurance, accommodation, books and stationery required.

AOYAMA GAKUIN UNIVERSITY (AGU)

Number of exchange students: to be agreed

Length of stay: one semester or two semesters

Tuition fee: Exchange students are expected to pay the tuition and fees to their home institution (Warsaw University of Technology).

Financial responsibility of exchange students: Accommodation, books, transportation, health insurance, medical care, passports, visas and personal expenses are the responsibility of the exchange students.

NAGOYA UNIVERSITY, Graduate School of Engineering - NUPACE Program

Offer addressed to: undergraduate, graduate and research students

Number of exchange students: 5 students or less annually

Length of stay: one semester or one academic year

Tuition fee: Waived for students enrolled in exchange partner departments with which Nagoya University has concluded tuition waiver agreements (WUT included).

Financial responsibility of exchange students: Rent, utilities, deposit, personal expenses, health insurance, personal liability insurance, visa, travel and transportation expenses, etc.

Application deadlines: Completed application forms must reach NUPACE Office by:

  • Late September Admission - March 15th (nominations by March 1st)
  • Early April Admission - October 15th (nominations by October 1st)

SHIZUOKA UNIVERSITY - PW-SU Exchange Programme

Offer addressed to: students of the Warsaw University of Technology

Number of exchange students: up to 4 each year

Length of stay: period of between 6 months to 1 year

Tuition fee: The host institution will waive all application, admission and tuition fees of the PW – SU exchange students.

Financial responsibility of exchange students: PW – SU exchange students will be responsible for obtaining and paying for necessary passports and visas, transportation to and from the host institution, cost of living including accommodation, meals, textbooks, clothing and personal expenses, medical insurance, government and/or private health service fees and all debts incurred during the course of the residence.

Number of exchange students: Each university will enroll no more than 5 students from the other each year.

Length of stay: not exceeding one year

Tuition fee: The host university will waive fees for entrance examinations, admission, and tuition for the students from the other university.

Financial responsibility of exchange students: Travel expenses, cost of living or other necessary expenses incurred by the students will be the responsibility of the individual students or their sponsors.

NANYANG TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY (NTU)

Number of exchange students: two students for one semester each or one student for two semesters

Length of stay: one semester or one academic year

Tuition fee: Exchange students will pay tuition and other fees at their home institution (Warsaw University of Technology) during the exchange period. They will be exempted from tuition fees at the host institution (Nanyang Technological University).

Financial responsibility of exchange students: They will pay for all personal expenses incurred at the host institution (NTU), including visa, housing, travel, meals, health insurance, books and stationery required.

NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF SINGAPORE (NUS)

Offer addressed to: undergraduate students

Number of exchange students: A maximum of two students will be exchanged between the universities in each academic year. Two exchange students enrolling for one semester is equivalent to one exchange student enrolling for one academic year of study.

Length of stay: one semester or one academic year

Tuition fee: Waived by the host university (National University of Singapore). The exchange students shall continue to pay tuition fees to the home university (Warsaw University of Technology).

Financial responsibility of exchange students: Tuition, academic and obligatory fees at home university, medical/health insurance, obligatory expenditure required in the country of the host university, journey to and from the country of the host university, personal and living expenses (including accommodation and food) and any debts/costs of damages incurred for the duration of their study abroad.

Financial responsibility of exchange students: All other expenses are responsibility of exchange students.
