The Geomatics Summer School at the Warsaw University of Technology is an intensive geospatial engineering course for international students. The school's curriculum includes geodesy, surveying, photogrammetry, laser scanning and geoinformatics issues in data processing.

The summer school was attended by 41 students, including those from Spain, Italy, Ireland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Ukraine, Iraq, and India, who participated in remote preparatory lectures for a week beforehand.

Thanks to NAWA funding, five Lviv Polytechnic students participated in the summer school. The Center for International Cooperation submitted the funding application within the framework of the "Solidarity with Ukraine" - European Universities program.

During the field exercises, which lasted for the next two days, the participants, among other things, took part in measurements with geodesic techniques.

The fourth day was devoted to laboratory calculations and preparation for a concluding seminar with credit carried out in international groups.

Friday marked the conclusion of the Geomatics Summer School combined with a trip to the newly opened CENAGIS laboratories in Jozefoslaw. Students were introduced to the calibration labs of surveying equipment and the augmented reality lab and experienced a demonstration of drone operation in surveying applications.
