ATHENS is a programme designed to develop engineering and intercultural competencies among students of European technical universities. The courses offered within ATHENS are specialised in nature. Currently, the programme includes 15 universities from 15 countries.
ATHENS sessions take place twice a year, in March and November, in each of the participating countries. Each session consists of a five-day intensive course (30 hours) and a cultural programme called European Dimension Activities (10–15 hours), which at WUT is prepared and run by the Student Union.
The next ATHENS session is scheduled to take place in March 2026.
