CESAER Secretary General visited the Warsaw University of Technology

Discussing the cooperation of the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) with the CESAER association, summarizing the activities of CESAER task forces, in which 9. employees of our university are involved, and identifying the main challenges for the coming years - these key topics were raised during the meeting of the Secretary General of the CESAER association, David Bohmert, with the vice-rectors and employees of the Warsaw University of Technology. The visit took place on 31 May 2022.

The meeting was chaired by Prof. Mariusz Malinowski - Vice-Rector for Research of the Warsaw University of Technology. During the meeting, WUT representatives involved in the work of CESAER association task forces summarized their activities over the past year and presented recommendations for further actions. The meeting was attended by Prof. Renata Walczak, Ph.D. - Vice-Rector for the WUT Branch in Plock and WUT representative in the Human Resources Task Force as well as representatives of 4 other CESAER task forces: Dr Krzysztof Bakuła - Task Force Benchmark, Prof. Sylwia Sysko-Romańczuk, Ph.D. - Task Force Innovation, Prof. Przemysław Kupidura, Ph.D. - Task Force Learning and Teaching, Prof. Robert Zajdler, Ph.D., and Grzegorz Robak, Director of the Centre for International Cooperation - Task Force Sustainable Funding.

CESAER association was established in 1990 and currently associates 58 leading universities, mainly technical universities. The Warsaw University of Technology has been its member since 2005 as one of three Polish member universities. CESAER operates through task forces that identify common problems, involve representatives of partner universities in the activities of the association, facilitate the exchange of good practices and develop recommendations for the European Commission.
