EUA evaluators' visit to Warsaw University of Technology
Within the framework of the Excellence Initiative - Research University project, Warsaw University of Technology has joined the process to obtain an international institutional evaluation Insitutional Evaluation Program with a special focus on research management and the use of research results. The evaluating organization is the European University Association. The process consists of a self-assessment by the university and an evaluation and recommendation by external evaluators.
On 12-16.06.2023. Warsaw University of Technology was visited by a 5-member international team of evaluators from the European University Association. The evaluators met with the Rector, deans, staff, PhD candidates and students of Warsaw University of Technology, as well as representatives of companies and organizations cooperating with our University. The meetings were also held in 4 thematic groups: education, research and technology transfer, internationalization, university management. They were attended by 140 people. The visit of the evaluators of the European University Association ended with the presentation of the first conclusions, which will be included in the final report. In terms of organization, the visit was coordinated by the Center for International Cooperation in cooperation with other organizational units of the University.
